Hello my name is Betsy Toy.One evening why I was on Instagram united person worker came on and stated that I won a grant from united nations democracy fund Saying that I want $200,000 if I bought an Amazon or a steam card I would get my prize? In New York City sheriffs officer stated that it was true and if I bought him an Amazon card he was the person that was escorting the postal worker to my residence in New Jersey that never happened he also said if I gave him another Amazon card he would secure my account! So he was basically tracking me and if it wasn’t him then there was another guy that would do the same thing secure my account. It seems like the police officer in this other person we’re working hand-in-hand by tracking me and securing my account. being that I live in South Jersey I said to the postal worker let me just come up there and collect the money myself it’s only an hour and a half drive from Cherry Hill it depends on what time of the day you go it could be two hours or 2 1/2 hours but she stated do you want to be beat up people that went up to the United Nations democracy area she stated they have been been beat up by people who want to collect the money I said how would they even know that I was coming up there to collect the money They had my name Address telephone number. When I Wouldn’t answer my cell phone they would call on The house phone and try to pester me! They had my address,house phone number number.

Who, I thought was my cousin, contacted me on Facebook Messenger to contact Agent Richard Smith, Jr. from the United Nations Democracy Fund for money given to private citizens. Well, I should have called my cousin to verify this but I didn't. Anyway after sending in money and gift cards I did contact my cousin and she knew nothing of this. I emailed the state DOJ but they said to get a lawyer. Can't afford that. Anyway, is there some way you can help/advise me as to what to do. For one thing, I don't want anyone else to go through this.

She pretended to be my nephew’s x mother-in-law, She text me thru messenger n it’s funny how I never text with this lady, I talked to her face to face in about 15 years. So I was shocked when she texted me. She told me about UNDEF and if I was aware of that charity an I texted her back and told her not interested and she replied and said No, she said if you qualify you get 50,000 in cash all you have to do is pay 1,000 for qualifying fees and you get in a fed x box next morning about 9:00 am. She also texted me a number for Douglas Williams 248-923-8337 and he send me a short video of a fedx box and said the cash was inside ready to sent to me. Of course I did not believe one word he texted to me. Come to find out my nephew’s x- mother-in-law never send me a text on messenger.

My daughter told me after she had already given them her ID and personal information. They also asked for her FB password. I threatened them after a chat to find out if they were legit and asked detailed questions and they ignored my requests about their website address and said they needed my full name. I told them I knew they were a scam and if they did anything to my daughter's accounts or financials, that I would report them. I reported their page to FB tonight anyways, and they ended up unfriending her. The site page has only been around since August 4th and I have copied the chat and all information that you might need. Please help!

Received a text message from a friend that I am on Facebook with. I got a friend request yesterday which I thought we were already friends on Facebook. I have known her for many years and she is an upstanding individual. At any rate she advised me via text messenger of a grant she received from the United Nations Democracy Fund telephone number 1-209-560-6346 for $100,000 that required a $500 case file and shipping fee. I asked her if I could call her just to confirm it was her and not a scam and she replied that for security purposes she could not which was an immediate red flag.

Initially I got a text message from Brenda Warner, NY advising me of a free government grant to help pay for any of my necessities and to contact Timothy J. Doyle..and so I did then once you decide how much of a grant you want you initially pay a fee of $1000. Then the problems occur during delivery costing more money to be wired IRS, US CUSTOMS, AND FINALLY FBI. After all these problems by that time you have not only lost $ but now you are barred from Western Union and Money gram, so then he has you purchase I-tune cards from 5 different stores and wants you to give him the numbers on the back. Bottom line NO GRANT, LOST $, AND NOW HE'S CHANGED HIS NAME ON FACEBOOK AS BILL GRANT. I HAVE CONTACTED FBI BUT BECAUSE IT IS NOT A LARGE AMOUNT OF $ THEY CANT HELP ME. ; JUST TOLD ME TO COMPLETE IC3 FORM AT WHICH I DID. NO RESPONSE AS OF YET AND DO,T EXSPECT TO EITHER I LOST $10,000. AND RECEIVED NO HELP AT ALL. TRIED TO WARN OTHER FB USERS ALSO SO THEY DON'T LOSE ANY OF THEIR $ TOO. VERY SAD.

Accepted a friend request from someone I know then received a message from her saying my name was on a list to win money and that she had won some outrageous amount from this place. She gave me a phone number to text so I did. They said it was Alberto Gonzalez, the official claim agent for United Nations Democracy Fund. They sent me a questioneer and I gave them the following information: my full name, address, DOB, occupation, marital status, own or rent, cash or check, monthly income, email address & phone number. Then they fave me a UPS tracking number for my prize package. Then they sent a text saying if I pay $850 then I'd get $20,000 and it kept increasing to if I pay $17,000 I'd get $400,000. Then I knew it was a scam!! Now I'm not sure what they can do with that information that I gave them.
