They call myself (as well as my mom, step-father, sister, and husband) from numerous numbers and stating the name of numerous different companies (Cornerstone Advisers or United Recovery Services) and numerous file names but the rest of the message is the same. The call several times a day and have been for months. I do not have any unpaid debt, I have reported this to the police and was advised its a scam, and I pulled my credit report to confirm nothing fraudulent or outstanding. My report is clean and my bills are all paid. When they call they leave a message stating "Our office is contacting you regarding multiple allegations attached to your name and social" and that they will locate me and I will forfeit my rights and that they will pursue me my place of employment or residence. When it first began I would request they send in writing and they would refuse. The did ask me to confirm my social and they hang up or become combative when I tell them no or ask for more information to prove the legitimacy. I have contacted the company the gave the name for called Cornerstone Advisers and they stated they are getting a ton of calls but they aren't a collection agency and this is a scam.
