Type of a scam Employment
Received Priority Mail-that contained a Money Order($995.00) & letter. Letter was from United Research welcoming me to their Survey Analyst/Store Evaluator team. Was instructed to fill out the From & Pay To section of the Money Order. From: Halmond Sherman(2380 Dustin Cir Spring Hill, FL 34608) To: My name & address. Then text-Assignment Received to 936-274-0569. Cash the MO at my bank & then Text "Money Order Cashed" to same ph#. Deduct $200 for Job Salary & balance of $797 for assignment. Purchase 2 Vanilla or One Vanilla Visa/Master Gift Cards from Walmart, CVS, Family Dollar, Target or Best Buy. Then rate the customer service & send the report to [email protected]. After purchasing cards text "Activated" before leaving the store for Final instructions. Do Not discard the cards they will be used for subsequent assignments. Send assignment report & copy of receipts to email provided above.
Also-this was delivered to my home but was addressed to a different name & an address that doesn't exist on our street!
