Entered business info online thinking it was legit. Had questions so tried to call. There was no answer during business day for over an hour. Finally it was a recording stating I may be placed on hold because call volume was extremely high. Never could speak to a human. Believe while on Hold that they may have been tracing my call to commit more fraud against me. They have my business information because the letter looks authentic at first site and is quite intimidating as it demands you must comply or suffer penalties. However, I wanted to complete the paperwork using hard copies so I could make physical copies. But it had no address to contact them. I kept asking others if they got the letter too. None did. Time was flying and I needed to respond. So I complied only to find online complaints with the ScamPulse.com (Better Business Bureau). I was SCAMMED.

Scammer sent a letter about a business that i own, clamming that i need to submit information about my business or i will get fine with a $10,000 or go to jail for 2 years.

Received a letter in the mail regarding a small business filing requirement, but it is not an obligation or an indicator of crimes. However, if you don't file by website or call by December 7, then you could be fined up to $500 per day or be charged with criminal penalties of up to $10,000. The fake government seal has an American Flag in the middle, which does not exist. They say they are from the US Business Regulations Department, in which there is no such department.
