I’ve been receiving multiple phone calls from various numbers and various locations cleaning. They need to verify information for a loan application, but I have not applied for any loan. This call from 980-512-4616 only said “United States” on the caller ID, rather than a city and state as the others did. In my experience, this happens when I am receiving official calls from government agencies or services with which I am engaged. The voicemail left by this number, while vague, asks me to call back a different number, 855-356-2569. I have been receiving calls multiple times a day about this loan application scam, which are then followed up by text messages. The harassment is only increasing in frequency and needs to stop.
