Looking to forward my mail for the summer I did a Google search for address change. I clicked on a website that looked identical to the USPS site I have used previously. Knowing that the USPS requires a small fee to process the address change, I entered my debit card number and both my current address as well as the address where I will be staying. About 30 seconds later, I was notified by my bank via my phone that an apparent fraudulent charge of $89.95 had bee made and my card was bring frozen until I went to their site. I used my phone app to log on to my bank site and verified that the $89.95 charge was indeed fraudulent. They reversed the charge. The ScamPulse.com warns of this common deception--unfortunately I did not read about it until it was too late.
