We purchased a hotel through Expedia, we had to cancel. When we called Expedia they told us we would charge us $250, but they would give us a credit for that. We have never received the credit. Now Expedia says they never charged us. The charge came out as Air Tickets. When we look up that number it states it is a scam.

This is John Klein. I'm calling because I did not receive a stop order or a verification of your address. Therefore, I will be attempting to get a documentation to the addresses I do have on file today. Any questions or concerns you would need to contact the filing party at 8449677587. Case number attached is 827705. Again when you do contact them so you can obtain a stop order. P So why you have been notified?

Same as the previous person experienced. They would call, back to back without leaving any details of who, what, where, when? And what case is this pertaining too?

They've also contacted my parents as well.

People of what sounds like Filipino origin have been calling my mother's phone for the past two weeks saying they are process servers. She doesn't answer. They leave voicemails. This AM, I received a call from a Filipino-sounding man that said they are looking for my mother. I pretended not to know her and he persisted was she here, claiming to be a process server looking for her. I should have extracted more information from him before he hung up on me. He used a California 951 number, that's why I answered. My mother has been directed to block all these numbers and to not answer unknown calls. She's a senior citizen and it's not right what these scammers are doing to the elderly.

The actual amount of money is way more than 200…and there are many many victims. There is a huge group of Nigerian scammers that are stealing photos of wigs that are for sale from legit sellers/members in multiple facebook wig support groups. I am an administrator of one of the Wig support/selling groups that has been fighting hard to remove and block them from my group and along with other admins of other groups to prevent them from Joining and making fake sales post in ALL the wig groups. We have documented CLOSE TO 200 fake facebook profiles & hacked FB accounts originating from primarily Nigerian males. Many we assume are the same person or several who keep creating new FB accounts as soon as we block them. Their sole purpose is to steal photos from sales posts that the real legit group members are posting; then they make their own post trying to sell the wigs that they DONT HAVE to unsuspecting women/members. These woman are vulnerable with illnesses such as cancer, alopecia and other hair-loss issues who joined these groups for support and to buy wigs for less cost. Members buy, sell and trade wigs that they purchased that ended up not working out for themselves. Many are on disabilities or low income and many are seniors with health risks and these Nigerian -men- are taking their money for a -wig- that they DONT have…as soon as they get paid..they block the victim. Facebook is NOT helping us and we have not found away to actually speak to them to get proper help. We need Help! Us admins created a special scam prevention group where several of us spend many hours each day trying to protect thousands of members/women from hundreds of these MEN in Nigeria! We are just but a small hand-full of admins trying to fight this battle! The Nigerians have taken over about 5 wig groups now and have even created their own facebook wig selling group, with all fake posts. These men are pretending of course to be mostly Caucasian women 30 to middle aged. If we ‘out’ them publicly …they just quickly vanish and come right back with a NEW FAKE ACCOUNT…now they come back with MULTIPLE FAKE ACCOUNTS. Is there any way you can help us?
