Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

Emailed asking questions about services and our business replied. By crafting a personal email they can bypass Gmail spam filtering. Then they went into the sales pitch to sell advertisements to help expand our business reputation. When I declined they looked up the license to the practitioner at our business and submitted an official malpractice complaint against us via the Denver, Colorado regulatory agency online portal.

The individual DOXXed our employee with personal information found online, then submitted a bogus governmental complaint to blackmail and cause more issues for us unless we complied.
