I ordered an upright scooter on 11/26/23. I just received my package and it was a cane. Affirm has paid them and not on the site it says out of stock. I have contacted them by email because they won’t answer there phone. Affirm says I have to pay them or get the upright company to cancel the order and refund to them.

I order a $539.96 scooter, I was sent a walking cane instead of an Upright Mobility Scooter. the company will not send me a scooter or refund my money. the scooter was order on August 28, 2023. it have been over 90 day and the company will not respond to my about resolving this issue.

I had been looking for a folding mobility scooter. This one came up on facebook along with many other adds. The price looked good (should have know better) so I ordered it on my Credit Card. They sent a tracking number, order # and receipt. It was to come in 2 days. In 5 days I received a cane with the same order # and tracking #. $599.95 was taken out of my credit card account I used. They have my name, email, address and credit card number. I notified them on the email I had for them. Someone who said his name was Mark got back to me and said they would investigate. After several emails he said I had to send it back to receive my money back. I told him I couldn't send it back as I never received it. He said they would investigate some more.

On 8/5/23 I ordered upright walker via website without reading company's reviews.
On 8/16/23 I received a cheap foldable cane not worth $179. Have been sending and receiving emails regarding investigation into missing upright walker from

Company's customer services. First they advised they were looking into missing package and blamed USPS. On 9/5/23 I requested a full refund which they declined because of an ongoing investigation. Their emails don't offer any information but are a tactic in

Will just go away. I reported the problem to Minnesota Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. The Better Business Bureau advised that this company has ignored their inquiries.
This company's emails are sent between 11:00 pm CDT - 1:00 am CDT so I wonder if I am being scammed by an overseas company. The cheap cane was sent via USPS from Florida not Minnesota.

ordered through website at uprightcane.com. On website they advertised a mobility scooter on sale. Ordered using credit card. What I received was a collapsible walking cane. The phone number said voice mail was not available. Have not gotten response from email.

I ordered a scooter, they delivered a cane. They refuse to answer phone calls or return phone calls. After many E-mails all they keep saying is that they are investigating. Their whole pattern is one of a scam. It would be nice to at least talk to someone.

After a recent injury, I was apprehensive about moving around, but the Upright Cane has completely restored my confidence. Its sturdy build and well-thought-out features, such as the non-slip base and comfortable handle, provide a sense of security while walking. I feel like I have my freedom back, and I'm no longer hesitant to venture out. The Upright Cane is truly a remarkable aid that empowers individuals to regain their mobility with ease.

I received my "Upright Cane" May 16, 2022, Order #2024, and immediately wrote an email, "My Upright Cane arrived today. I am 5'5", but the cane at its shortest, seems to be 34" tall. I need it to be 2" shorter, but can't figure out how to do that, and no instructions came with the cane." On May 21, since I had received no response, I started the return process. On May 28, I replied to Samantha L. "Your website states "Adjust it from 30” all the way up to 37” Perfect fit for people 5' to 6'5". " But the shortest that the cane I received will go is 34 inches -- pressing the button on the side, it won't lower any more, unless there is some method you haven't told me about. The box that it came in is lebelled "Twin Grip Cane", not "Upright Cane", and on the outside of the box it states, "Adjustible Length 86 to97 cm". 86 cm = 33.8583 in., or almost 34 inches. That is 4 inches longer than what your website states is the minimum length.

If you don't have an answer for that problem, then I do need to return it for a refund. I had to open the package, to measure the length. I did not use it, but packed it back up, just as I received it. Attached are 3 photos of the package and its contents, that I need to return." (see photos below).

Samantha L. replied: "Thanks for sending the requested information. All looks good. Please send your order to 1801 Monks ave #734 Mankato MN 56001. After inspection, we will send a full refund. Let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions." When I mailed the package, I also emailed them a photo of my package, and a copy of my USPS receipt for $12.00 for the mailing.

I received another email "Thank you for reaching out to us! I will go ahead and get this order refunded on our side. Please note that your refund is being processed today and may take 5-7 days to reflect in your bank account. If you have any other questions or issues please contact me as I have created a ticket in the system for you. Enjoy your day! Regards, Samantha L. Customer Support Representative"

The refund never arrived, and over the next two months I repeatedly emailed asking where my refund was, and was offerred a mailing, and a check by mail, with "Samantha" saying she would "check on this", and then nothing happened, over and over. She promised to get it out "after the weekend (Monday, August 1st)." I wrote her about it again on Sept. 12 and Sept. 16, and received a reply, "I have notified management of this as they are engaging in your case. They will reach out to you soon. Regards, Samantha L."

I finally stopped writing her emails, since it was more than clear I was just being forever lied to, and never going to receive my refund. The pretense that they were legitimately doing business had gone on far too long.

So I lost the $34.97 USD of the cost for the cane, plus the $12.00 cost of the shipping to send it back to them, because of their misrepresentation of the product on their website, which was proved by the statements on the package I received, even though they never admitted they had made a mistake.

Saw add on Facebook and ordered upright cane on 2/9/2022 (order #1265). Standard shipping expected 2-3 days. Cane not received by 3/21/2022 sent first email to 'Please investigate". 3/29/2022 received email from "Samantha L apologies for delay, shows not sent yet". Two more emails sent by me, 4/20/2022 and 5/23/2022 asking for information/tracking number. Received emails 5/24/2022 and 5/30/2022 from "Ali Muhammad" that it shows 'in transit' and "will be shipped tomorrow". "Once it ships, you'll get an email with tracking number". As of 6/8/2022, no cane, no emails with tracking number, and no refund issued. Continual blame for shipping delay due to Covid-19.
