I was left multiple phone messages to my home phone saying we have a perishable package that needs to be picked up. The caller id said united parcel service. Person called on multiple days and knew our name. No ups slip was left at our home. They left a different number to call back which was 262-7**-***7. Numbers were disconnected. Called UPS and they said it was a scam and had no record of a package delivery for our address.

Indian man calls numerous times a day, very rude. First he said he was sending back, wrist braces and it was okayed by my Dr. I have refused numerous times and declined calls but they constantly call back and get argumentative. My co-worker took one call and he told her he was with UPS and was trying to send her new Medicare card and it would be delivered at 3pm today. Co-worker threatened him with filing a complaint and he was very rude to her. She hung up and he called back 4 times in 2 minutes.

Name of person calling said name was Larry Jones, address where money is going Glenn Jackson 4225 willow run dr. Jackson, Mississippi, 39212

I received a call from a male at the above listed number stating he was UPS and that he had a package and wanted to confirm my apartment number, once he stated the number I confirmed with a “yes” and as I thought he needed a signature I let him know I was at the gym. He said thank you and hat was the end. As I was in the middle of working out and initially not suspicious, I immediately called the number back numerous times blocking my number and again without blocking and it appears to be a fax number.

A private number called, wich I normally don't answer, but I'm expecting a call from a local law enforcement agency, and thought they may block their number.

The caller claimed to be a UPS delivery driver, claiming to have a delivery for me, and asked when I plan to be home. I didn't offer a time, and he then asked if I'm expecting a delivery. I said no, to which he claimed to have a package for me from Publisher's Cearinghouse, which immediately cued me in to the fact that he was phishing for info, so I immediately hung up.

After hanging up, I thought it strangely coincidental that the caller waited until I maybe 2 minutes after I left my house for work this morning. Now, I'm wondering if the scammer lives in my neighbohood.

A man called saying his name is Tom Green and that he was calling from UPS. He said I have a package to be delivered today and he wanted to know if I would be home to sign for it. I asked what the package was, and he said it was a check from Publisher's Clearing House. I then hung up. The number he called from showed up as Unknown.

- Comstock Park, MI, USA

They claimed to be notifying me that my Aunt had sent me a package that may be arriving by UPS or standard mail. They gave a tracking number, but the invoice link led to the tracking number again. They named my Aunt by her Facebook name. My Aunt has remarried without changing her Facebook name. I asked if she sent a package, she said no.

Tried to get me to answer yes to questions they asked when I answered mhmm and uhuh they hung up.

Bob Clark supposedly called from UPS to tell me I won a million dollars. Said he was trying to deliver a check and to call Dave Sawyer at Publisher's Clearing House and gave me a number for that (1-516-204-4116).

- Fremont, MI, USA

When I answered the phone, the caller said my name. I asked, "who's calling?", and they said it was UPS and had information about a package. They then asked again if I was the person they were calling by them using my name. I answered, yes. After I answered they hung up.

A man called claiming he was with UPS. He kept asking me if the phone number he dialed was our main phone line or my direct phone line. I eventually said "yes" and then he hung up on me.

- Chula Vista, CA, USA

First got call from someone saying I was delinquent on UPS account. That came from phone number 877-869-7502. Called UPS said this is not them. Now I am getting calls from 866-341-8884 saying they need to collect debt. I have an email from [email protected] confirming I do not have an account with them.

I googled the 866 and 877 numbers and both had many comments about scammers. I have put a fraud alert on my credit.

The caller asked to speak with an individual. I asked what the call was in reference to, he stated it was regarding a problem with a package delivery. I asked what company he was with he stated UPS. I asked who the sender was and he stated Bank of America. I stated that if there really was a problem then Bank of America should contact the individual. He asked if the person mentioned worked for our business and stated I was unwilling to share any information. He asked if he could confirm our address. I stated this sounded like fraud and I would not share any information. I wrote the phone number down, 313-242-2000 and attempted to call the number using a different number and received the recorded message "this is not a valid number, please try again".

Received a call from a man stating that he was with UPS and wanted to deliver a sweepstakes prize from the Publishing Clearing House. He asked if I was at home, I said no, but that I was 10 mins away from home.

He left me a phone # to call. (see above) When I called, he wanted to confirm my address. I did not give him my address and informed him that I believed he was attempting to scam me and hung up the phone.
