I received a call from the fake charity asking me to donate money. I told them I would and they suggested amounts that I could donate. They were all too high for me and I told them I could do $75. They agreed to that amount. The man that was talking to me was pushy and rude. He then told me to hold for his supervisor. A woman came on the phone and asked for my credit card information. I told them that I would not give that out over the phone. She said, "We won't ask for your security code on the back." I said, "I'm not giving out my information over the phone, but you can mail me information." She reluctantly agreed and I gave her my mailing address and maybe my e-mail address (I don't remember). I received an envelope in the mail the next week from the charity. It looked official, but I was suspicious. The name of the charity was too generic and I couldn't forget how rude the people were. I looked up the name of the charity on the internet and found out that it was a scam. I DID NOT send them any money. (PS. Something is wrong with your website. The form on your website would not allow me to enter a correct dollar amount. I tried 2-3 times.)
