Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
This company has over $25,000 of mine which represents my entire life savings.
The way this scam works, is that Uptown Website Design will never actually deliver a final product. Instead, they will constantly and perpetually invent new features which must be purchased in order to have a functional website suitable for public viewing. In other words, it’s a type of extortion—if you don’t pay what they demand, they will hold your website and money, for ransom.
They will give you every assurance that you are fully paid and that they are working hard to design your website. Instead, every time they call you to have meeting about the progress of your website, its either a sales pitch or a demand for huge amounts of money for some critical feature they forgot to mention.
And forget about getting a refund. They will refuse to give you any money back no matter what the circumstances.
