Scammer “Dad Accusing You for ‘contact’ with a minor” using TextMe now accusing you
Moreover, the person made a fake Upward account and unmatched me before I was able to learn and report “her”. Obviously it’s a guy who can’t make money as he is using a free software carrier and iPhone app called TextMe now which generates fake numbers. He’s living in Arkansas is using multiple numbers, one as the person you match with, and one as a “investigator”, to which you have a court hearing for a week from now. It’s a real person.
The scammer uses your area code with the dating app and generates a number within your area code. On Upward, it displays they’re “X” amount of miles away. They seem real.
Scammer used a backstory of “I just moved here, my nanny died and I moved in with my parents. I’m love cooking and am an adventurous type. I will go to culinary school. Etc, etc” Emojis were used as if a real girl and it sounded more natural.
Then if you don’t give this person attention, they send you that fake nude video. If you don’t respond after 1.5 hours, they say they will kill their self.
If you don’t block their number, a day later, “dad” accuses you for blame for her attempting to kill herself.
If you don’t respond to that, “Private Investigator Morgan”, no last name, says you have a court hearing.
All in all, don’t give your number on dating apps unless you are certain, or have a social media with no personally identifiable information on it.
What a waste of time and stress from someone who can’t make money honestly! I’ve read they will eventually scare you into giving money. Such evil people.
