I received a call from a call center spoofing a Fort Myers, Florida phone number. The caller identified himself as "Max" but had an accent similar to people from Southwest Asia. He asked me if I remembered applying for a free government grant. I responded that I did not apply for such a grant and hung up the phone. The call was obviously an attempted scam.
