I was directed to this website after entering 'Replace Social Security Card'. It appears to be reputable. They claim to be a 3rd party filing service for the government (SSA). They charged what turned out to be $39.00 for a form that you can download from the SSA website for free. I entered my credit card information before realizing that the site was suspicious. I contacted service 2 ways, via Live Chat and Phone. The chat agent ended our session as soon as I inquired about the fee. The phone agent struggled with the English language and she just repeated that the service they provided was to save people from sitting at the SSA office. However, their instructions were incorrect, as it turns out. I would not have received any Replacement card had I sent their expensive application. Not to mention they may have accessed more personal information from me throughout the process. This service is not reliable, and it is overpriced. After close inspection, the operation seems very suspicious and I am embarrassed that I didn't notice sooner.

Acts as a FAKE USA Social Security site that charges you to fill out FREE forms to get a replacement Social Security card 

If using this site please read the fine print. Social Security Cards are free to US citizens and online applications only work for some states. Their logo imitates the American Flag making it look like the official Social Security website but it is not.
