I need a tax ID for my business. This company is acting as if they are part of the IRS, I typed in my card number as requested but there was no where that said I was purching as prodcut or item. It charged my card 279! I did dot know or want that. I tried calling multiple times. the number is fake. I emailed and it coes back undeliverable

This company pops up as soon as you look for the IRS for an EIN. They collect all your information on the “application” which looks very much like the IRS website. They charge $250 when getting an EIN is FREE. The website is intentionally built to duplicate the IRS and scam people out of their money and collect all your personal information including your social.

This company poses as an IRS sanctioned website. They do have tiny disclaimers if you look for them but their site is clearly designed to confuse people who are filing for EIN numbers. They make you pay a hefty fee for registering your number, which is a free service in the official IRS website. In one of their carefully places disclaimers, they claim that they charge you ( hundreds of dollars) because they have a simplified firm process. They don't. It's almost identical to fee IRS's form. More importantly, they collect your personal info including social security number prior to customer check out and save it to contact you later. It is very concerning that they have this info.
