The job as Package Courier Manager, was advertised on 'Indeed'. I filled out the application with my resume and sent it in. I received an email from a 'Patrick Jacobs' (phone# 404-382-0802) in HR, and he told me that someone would contact me for a phone interview. I received the phone call from a 'Tom', sorry, forgot last name, we talked for about 10 minutes, and he said that I was hired for the courier job. He said I would be getting some emails from him and for me to fill out and sign a contract and send back to Patrick Jacobs, HR man. Also, he said he was sending a questionnaire and for me to fill that out and send back to him. His email said that I was to be paid $3200 for the month and that the pay would start after I sent out the first package, which was May 13. I would get certain bonuses for sending package out on the same day I received it. He also told me to keep an expense sheet when I had to take the packages to FedEx, UPS and USPS. Also, I would receive $1 a day for just signing into the 'SmartPanel' which is where all the information went into when I received and shipped packages out, the time, date, weight, package details, etc. After the initial $3200 plus bonuses the first month, I would be paid $800 each week after that with same bonuses. Before my first package came, I received another email saying I was to be working with a 'Daniel ******' (phone# 404-448-1075) who was to be my manager and I was to go to him with any questions I had. This went on for a month, getting packages, opening them, making sure they weren't damaged etc., but when June 13 rolled around there was no money in my bank account from them, (I had wanted direct deposit). The 13th of June was on a Thursday, so I called 'Daniel' to ask him where my money was and he said, " that's no problem, sometimes it takes 24 hours to go thru, just wait". So, I waited till the end of the 14th (Friday) and nothing still didn't show up in my account. I then had to wait the weekend to call Daniel again. Monday, the 17th came around and I called Daniel, and his line was busy. I waited about 30 minutes and called again, and it rang several times then went to busy signal. I went online to see if I had any packages coming and I couldn't get in on the 'SmartPanel'. I tried several times thinking there was a glitch on their end and tried calling Daniel and no answer, always ringing and then busy signal. I then tried to call Patrick in HR and his number rang with no answer, so I left a message. Of course, I never got a call back. One thing I would like to mention is that all these men had American names but spoke with a foreign accent, all except Patrick Jacobs. When I spoke with him early on, he spoke with no accent but that could have been bogus, I don't know. I went online to see if anyone else had this problem and I was amazed at how many people were on the chat line talking about the same scam that I related above. I decided to contact ScamPulse.com to make a scam complaint. Don't know if anyone else has done that but, here is my story, and I'm sticking to it.
