I had went to change my address and while i used to fill it out on paper and mail it, this time around ive been trying to be more eco-friendly. I went online found the usps site, clicked change address, it then brought me to the site moversguide.usps.com. After i had clicked the button: get started, i had a weird pop up on my screen that didnt have anything on it, i had closed it. I filled out the form, it had asked me to verify that i was who i said i was, upon asking for the charge of $1.10 for the service charge. I had entered in my information, and clicked submit. It showed me that it had went thu and also a confirmation number. After finishing that, I had went about my day and did more of my errands. Towards the end of my errands, I had went to my mobile app to verify purchases pending, and i had seen that when i had done my address change, they had a pending charge of $179.95 listed as USFORWARD-POSTAL. Im confused at this point and the bank wasnt open, i had also gotten 2 separate emails, both with suspicious information on them. I had tried callkng customer service flr the bank and no one answered. I had also made a report with local law enforcement. Mind you, it was really suspicious do it it not going thru on friday, and the bank said it "fell off the account" well they had tried running the card again at 9pm on April 29, 2023, while the card was disabled and i couldnt dispute it until yesterday when it was presented and it had cleared my account. I tried my best to try to figure out who they were. I was able to get bits and peices but nothing about the address was real.
