I received a call from a random supplier on 10/16/2023 saying that they'd like to send me a catalog detailing their products and I agreed. They had called once or twice previously but I wasn't available and coworkers took the message and relayed it to me verbally. A few weeks later I received a few ink and toner cartridges via UPS and red flags went up as these were something I definitely did not order or request. I held onto them but did not use them. The company then called on 11/27/23 to inquire if I had used the product and how I liked them and I told them that I would like to return them because I have no use for them. They said that they would transfer me to customer support and hung up on me. I checked the mail on 11/29/23 and we had received an invoice from the company. I looked up the company and found their ScamPulse.com page, and found that many others had had the same experience that I did. The invoice is for $163.66 and is very unprofessional looking with a purchase order of "verbal". They've since called me thrice, every day this week, and I have rejected each call as I feel it is best to avoid interaction that does not have a paper trail. Our company reached out to our business credit consultant who was able to confirm that they are not considered a legitimate business by Dun & Bradstreet and further, she traced their address back to a storage unit. A report with the FTC has also been filed.
