This company sends an email saying “congratulations, you’re entitled to a $90 gift if you respond to the survey”. Because they make it look like they are representing Shopper’s Drugmart, Costco or other reputable chains, you think it’s legitimate. Once you complete the survey you are asked to pay approximately $6 shipping for the $90 gift. What you don’t see is that by doing this you are subscribing to continually purchase their product monthly, for me it was moisturizer at $165 each month! The only way to avoid this monthly charge is to cancel your subscription within a small time frame of paying the shipment of the “gift”. However, most people do not cancel a subscription they don’t even know they have, and the company is well aware of this.
