The person contacted my via Instagram. Then he asked me to move over to WhatsApp. A week into talking, he asked if I could lend him $500 cause his bank account was frozen because it was hacked and he needed to pay some bills and go out for his birthday. He sent me flowers. Then asked if I could send him money for his sick sister that was in Tennessee. He sent me a photo that looked very much a bad photoshop job. I told him that and he got defensive. At the end of that month, he was then being deployed to Africa. He has sent me a lot of photos and short videos. The videos are short, and either i cant here him or they lag in time. His reasoning for the no volume is that his phone broke. Then he wanted me to buy him a new phone. Then there was supposedly bombing where they were stationed. I received an email about Providing money per month for him to have an apartment, and i would get back 20% when he gets home. He said he couldn’t eat the food there, that it made him sick, if I could send him money for that. Then he was supposedly shot in the leg. Needed money for the doctors to give him medication. The photos for this was badly photoshopped again. He only stayed in the “hospital” for 2 weeks. I was a nurse, we usually had gun shot victims stay 6 weeks. There were a lot more inconsistencies that i finally started really questioning. I finally found an app that will show you what has been altered in a photo and face recognition. This person came up 88 times. Turns out he stole the identity of a Ken ******* from Florida. I brought this up to “Steve” and he said they were twin brothers. Okay, fine, but i do not know any twins that have The exact same tattoos in The exact same locations, Different birthdays, different parents, different location of birth.
