The website appears as the top result in Microsoft Bing search engine. As usual, trying to multitask, not paying full attention, I search for change address using Bing (because it's the default for MS Edge web browser, only using because default browser with new laptop), this website comes up. The website asks for the old and new address, and then says it needs credit card information to verify identity. I should have stopped at this point, but I honestly don't know what information is needed these days to verify identity. The website never mentioned any charges occurring. Within seconds, a fraudulent charge was attempted on my credit card. Luckily, my bank blocked it. I will try to notify Microsoft as well because this result does not appear in Google.

I used Bing (my first mistake) to search for USPS to identify types of mailing envelopes I can use. Seeing the first result (usmoveservices.com), I clicked on it, not realizing it was NOT the USPS website. I started my change of address request and I did not receive a statement of how much it would cost, I figured it would be on the next page and that would be the final okay "click here to submit". There was NOTHING. I immediately got a bank text, "we received a withdrawal request for X amount of money". Of course there is NO information about contacting them except for a page where you fill out your information and pray its a real thing and someone will contact you. I never even got a confirmation email stating they received my email. this is FRAUD

DO not use this site to change your address.. They will take 17.95 from you to change your address instead of the $1.10. SCAM!

I needed to update my address as I just moved. I had plenty of other things going on and clearly did not pay enough attention to the website or other information that would have identified the scam. I have multiple emails telling me to confirm my change of address and that I have to go in to confirm my identity at a post office. It may be a legit service, but the cost was not identified before charging my card. This is a scam because of the lack of info and how they position themselves on the internet to target those not paying attention or those in a rush. Did not notice it was a scam until I checked my charges on my card and saw a charge for 'US-ChangeofMail' in the amount of &179.95. I hope this helps other people avoid falling victim to this scam.

I went online to have my mail forwarded to new address and was taken to the website that I believed was USPS. I put in my new address and my old address then I was asked to give my card information to verify my move information. my bank declined the verification. Then my bank notified me as to unusual activity and I found out that the website had tried to remove 179 dollars out of my account and also was declined. I didn't lose anything but I wanted to notify someone about this website and what had transpired. The website also did not notify me of a price or give any information that they were about to take any money out of my account.
