I went to the US Department of State website to renew my passport. I needed the passport as quickly as possible. As soon as I had put my information in US Passport Office, the scam website popped up, and I thought it was part of the passport offices process for expediting passports. I used my credit card to pay the fee of $1000. I filled out their form completely and the next day I got a notice saying that I needed to make an appointment for them to call me. The next day I got a message an email saying that They were not able to reach me. When I looked at my call log there was no call from them at all. This has never happened in any case before. I made another appointment, and I got the same response back. They were saying they were trying to reach my phone, and could not, and that I should use another phone number. I don’t have another phone number so I told them that. This process went on for another day and by that time I realized there was no chance of getting my passport in time. I drove down to Los Angeles to the passport office And got my passport on the same day. And the expediting fee was $60.

ON MONDAY JULY 1, I WAS MAKING AN APPOINTMENT AT THE LOCAL UNITED STATES POST OFFICE FOR PASSPORT FOR MY SON WHEN

THE SCAMMERS ARE USING A WEBSITE USPRIORITYRECORDS.ORG TO FRAUD AND TRICK INTO PAYMENT FOR A PASSPORT. THE WEBSITE ASKS ARE YOU APPLYING FOR A NEW PASSPORT, RENEWAL, CHILD ETC.

UPON YOUR CHOICE THE SITE THEN PROCEEDS WITH PAYMENT INFORMATION MAKING ONE BELIEVE THEY ARE PAYING FOR A PASSPORT. THEY ASK FOR THE NAME OF SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION. THE NEXT DAY A LADY NAME SALLY CALLED ME TO MAKE MY APPOINTMENT TO THE POST OFFICE. I HAD ALREADY MADE MY OWN APPOINTMENT AND I DID THE PAPER APPLICATION FOR THE PASSPORT. UPON MY ARRIVAL AT THE US POST OFFICE TO COMPLETE THE PASSORT PROCESS I WAS ADVISED BY THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP AT THE POST OFFICE THEY HAD NOT RECEIVED A FEE FROM ME FOR THE PASSPORT. I HAD TO PAY IN PERSON THE FEE I THOUGHT I PAID ONLINE. THE FEE IS PROCESSED FOR $1.99 WHICH IS AN INTERNATIONAL FEE PLUS THE $199 FOR A FRAUD PASSPORT FEE. THE SCAMMERS ARE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. THE TOTAL THEY CHARGED ME WAS $203 THE PHONE NUMBER THEY USE IS 202-900-0989. THERE WAS NO SERVICE EVER RENDERED AND THEY JUST LIE AND TRICK PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY. THIS SITE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. THEY HAVE SCAMMED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. IF YOU GOOGLE U.S. PRIORITY RECORDS YOU WILL SEE THE MANY COMPLAINTS OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN SCAMMED. IT IS RIDICULOUS. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

My fiance started the passport process from the usps website and put in my email address. Then i get an email from u.s. priority records saying i need to finish setting up my account to get a passport. So they are stealing email addresses from a government agency and pretending to be a passport service. Which is a federal agency. You pay for your passport thru them and then go to an acceptance center which was the post office in my case and then you have to repay for everything you already paid for thru u.s. priority records and the post office said they've had multiple people recently get scammed by them and they told me you never pay upfront for a passport and only do it at the counter when actually getting the passport application done
