I was approached online on the Snapchat app by a store selling really cool and interesting things online at a discounted price and when I asked questions about how to purchase items I was then asked if I had a PayPal or Bitcoin account. I gave them my PayPal information and asked how much for shipping. I was then told the total would be $*** dollars shipping included I then paid and was sent a tracking number for the website Uspsdiscretedelivery.com when I went to the website and put in my tracking number a screen pulled up showing all the correct information and the date of delivery to be in 24 hours. After waiting 3 days for the package to arrive and being asked by the store seller if I had received my package I was told to email the delivery company or try calling them to see what was taking so long for delivery. I then was immediately emailed and told I had to pay a $*** dollars “refundable” delivery fee when I saw this I immediately called the store and asked why I was not informed of this procedure during the original date of purchase because had I known that this was the case I would’ve never bought from the store. They proceeded to tell me that this was normal company policy so I started to investigate if anyone else had ever heard of having to pay for delivery thru the postal service and was told no. When I went to go back to the original store’s website it no longer existed and the number on the website had all stopped working. I then realized I had been scammed.
