i replied 1 to the text , exited the text and the link was activated i proceeded to click the link it asked for my address i typed my address and then it took to a payment link to change a redelivery fee i did not put my credit card information however i have given my entire address and concerned of the outcome .

The text claimed to be USPS with a package. Luckily I know better but many would not.

I hate these scammers!!

I have ordered several packages recently. I received a text message this morning from a team claiming to be from USPS Support. In the message, which I included in attachments, they claimed to not have a verifiable address to deliver my package. They requested I update my address, and pay (with a debit/credit card) a $0.30 redelivery fee. I did not pay the fee, as they already got my address I knew something was wrong because USPS doesn’t request any payment for redelivery. The website the message referred me to looked very legit. This is an easy scam to get a naive person’s personal and credit card information.

Im waiting for a usps package they want to charge for redelivery. I gave my card number not realizing that usps does not charge for redelivery. Whst can I do?

The approach is that they are the USPS trying to deliver a package to me. However there is postage due of $1.95. They want me to give my address and credit card number for payment. Why do they need my address? They will NOT allow me to pick up the package at their facility.

Scammer said a delivery attempt was made and requested me to enter my address and requested my credit information for a fee for my package to be redelivered. Link took me to a website that appears to be an actual United States Postal Service. please note only a website was use in the text message no phone number appeared. One click on link your person information is prompted. Then a request for payment.

I have informed delivery for USPS and so happens I am waiting for a package. I received a text (number 63 967 002 8513) that they failed to deliver due to missing address information and or inaccurate. Click the link it say or copy and use safari. I tried to click link nothing happened I copied to safari. I was asked my name and address I put that down then next step I was asked for 30 cents for redelivery. I was skeptical and went to log into USPS website and it said it will be delivered by 9pm so a different story. I then searched about the 30 cent charge and it’s a scam. I deleted the text and report it to Apple. I just hope with putting my name and address won’t affect me. The same day I received a call stating say your full name so we can connect you, I hanged up. Two scams in a day.

Was sent a text saying a package from USPS could not be delivered because of address info problem. Requested to copy & paste a link into a browser and give personal information (full legal name, address, email) then asked to pay .30 for a "re-delivery" service fee and asked for credit card info.

- New York, NY, USA

Said it was from USPS and would not redeliver a package unless I gave DOB, address, telephone, and credit card info. Also showed a tracking number.

- Massapequa Park, NY, USA

USPS text claiming to need more information to deliver a package. I actually have a package in delayed delivery, so it seemed realistic. Once they handed for a $3.00 delivery fee via credit card info, I stopped responding.

The scammer pretended to be the USPS, and was charging a $1 delivery fee. They requested home address and credit card information. They linked a website that mimicked the USPS website

- Ridgewood, NY, USA

Text message saying that I needed to pay a redelivery fee because zip code did not match.
