Text of package delivery from USPS.

- Marion, IL, USA

I received a text that appeared to be from USPS, claiming the delivery of my package had been changed. Yet, I had not ordered anything to be delivered. There was no loss of personal information or money because I did not click the embedded link.

Received a text message: "USPS: the arranged delivery for the parcel 1z67402 got changed. Please confirm here: x3fov.info/CXan1zf1Dk". The last string was a link. Following the link, went through a couple pass-through sites and ended on free-gifts.net. It asks you to complete a 4-question survey in the next 4 minutes for a chance to win a free iPad Pro. After the survey there were 9 images of gift boxes to select. It claims 1 of the 9 boxes has the iPad Pro and you have 3 chances to select. After selected the box with the iPad Pro, you're asked to provide your credit card number to cover $1-5 for shipping. At some point in the process, it asks for name email and phone number.

Expecting my order from City Beauty with USPS and I got this text message, USPS: the scheduled delivery for the parcel 1z76612 has been changed. Please confirm here. On this website were info about winning the price from Amazon and questions about my gender, age and the phone which I use. After I "won" I was redirect to error site.

Was charged $80 to temporarily change my address.... site looked official but clearly was not. I believe I went into a USPS site but really don't have the details.

Claims a scheduled delivery has changed and click on the link to confirm.

The text message I got from the above number said this: “USPS: the scheduled delivery for the package 1z00501 has been changed. Please confirm here: w7fzc.info/fU03xkmPyX”

When I went to the official USPS site to see if the package tracker would show me that it was real or a scam, it showed up as “tracking not available”. I haven’t ordered/sent any packages recently and I checked online on whether others have been scammed like this as well (there are warnings about this specific type written last year - in 2020), so it confirms to me that this is a scammer trying to get me to click on that link and then either ask for personal info or transfer a virus onto my phone.

I received a text yesterday and today telling me my USPS package delivery was changed and to click here to confirm. I did not click the link. The tracking number is too short. I already get USPS tracking texts and this wasn’t from the number I trust. Please warn others.

Text came up that it was the post office and your package delivery has been changed. Then gave a link to an amazon raffle for Easter Sunday for an IPad or IPhone. It also has a elaborate game to try to win.

Wanted a change of address. Decided to go online change address in what I thought was the USPS legit website for $1.05 . My card was $***** on March 26th 2021. The charge is pending as I’m typing this. I literally filled out the “form” of address. My name address new and old. I want my money back. Please help !
