Received a text from USPS saying that my address needed to be corrected to reroute a package. And it stated that the redirection would cost .30, thus requiring me to put on my credit card info. I did not do this ….

I was sent a text saying the delivery address on my package was incomplete and my package was unable to be delivered. I was prompted to follow a link in the text, which I did. It took me to a page that resembled the USPS website. It asked for information including my email address, full name, address, and phone number. I provided this information and the next page asked for credit or debit card information and explained a fee of $3.00 was necessary for redelivery at which point I finally became suspicious that this was a scam and I didn’t provide my financial information.

I received a text about a USPS package that was unable to be delivered due to address issue. After inputting some info for redelivery they ask for a 3$ fee. This is when I got suspicious and closed everything and looked it up. I told my family about it and one of them got scammed of 6$.

The sender sent a link to ask me to modify the information for a delivery, and I thought it was my father’s package, but it wasn’t.
