I did not notice the obviously fishy email address that I received the text from. Clicking the link took me to an official looking website that pretended to be the USPS website. It came up with a tracking number that appeared legit. The first page asked for my shipping address, which I gave. The second page asked for my card information which I also gave. It claimed that I was going to be charged a reshipping fee of 0.23$ though when I clicked continue, it stated that there was an error and to try again later.
I was susceptible for this scam as I was waiting on a late package from a website that sometimes struggles with deliveries, and I had just moved to my address and had already put the wrong shipping address in for other websites before.
