A representative from the solar company (U.S. Renewable Energy) was approaching residents in my neighborhood door to door and claiming to work with the city and asked for access to our energy meters. The houses in my neighborhood have their energy meters in their backyards. They also asked to see previous energy bills. They did not identify themselves as a solar company and I only know of their company because I asked the representative to send me an email with his contact. During our encounter, he maintained that he worked with the city and that he entered several of my neighbor's backyards.
