I responded to her text of course as I am currently job seeking. And she set up a chat interview through Skype with a Mr. Tom Hayden this was simple "okay / got it " answers . After about 30mins he stated I was hired and he can PDF me a check to E deposit to my bank to buy my equipment that I would need for my job duties. Of course I started getting a gut instinct and I told him no I cant E deposit. He said he would UPS / FEDEX my check to me and I can get $150 for sign in bonus and the remaining I would have to contact him in order for him to get me in contact with their 3rd party to purchase the equipment. I then got suspicious and asked you will mail me a check without me being onboard and singing documents? Im not even hired officially. He said i would get an email tomorrow with an offer letter.Then he asked i am to report to him tomorrow via skype at 8am my time. I just said ok, but kept thinking. I started researching the company, trying to back track and see when or through what site I applied for this ..and of course I came across several comments like this. People are really scamming innocent people that are just out here trying to look for a job! This is a messed up world we live in! Please be aware people! Do not provide information

It became very iffy when I was offered a check in the out of 1000 dollars and I was asked my email and home address was told I would recieve a w4 and i9 form thru mail after I deposit check I chose not too because it felt very sketchy

The pay amounts I’m assuming were for all of them…(which thinking back how on earth is that even possible). The pay they claimed for the positions were $55/hr and the Training pay of $21.75/hr. Which he just said I could pick whatever one I wanted…(hindsight, SUPER red flag).
The “interview” took place on Microsoft Teams with a Mr. Tom Hayden with the email of [email protected]. The interview was just a read-the-info he put in the chat and answer “Okay, No, Yes, DONE.” to various questions. Asking me am I able to work and do this job, what is the name of my Bank, my email (which they already had), my location (which they ask for your address -(I personally have a BOX I give to businesses and never provide my physical). At the end he told me I can check in the next day for “tasks and duties”… on Teams. They went as far as including copy and paste from the actual website in the chat. He mentioned things about getting the offer letter, training, getting equipment from their list of venders that will come from the check they want to send you, for you to take XYZ amount out of it for yourself as a special offer from their hiring campaign. Of course you can’t cash the check until 1-2 business days later. Now I’m here the VERY day of this encounter, just now realizing my gut was right and that this occurrence was a scam and am now adding my own encounter (this) to the list thankfully not falling for the check scam. Just Run. .
