Scammer knocked on door claiming to be a contractor highered by Columbia gas. He stayed he could lower my utility rates and needed to see my bills for confirmation. I provided them then he stated he could lower my rates and all I needed to do is wait to receive a phone call from his company. The person called and he had the list of questioned Id be asked. He stated I needed to have my phone on speaker so he could hear the conversation. He placed my phone on muted when asked if I was being coached and stated not to acknowledge he was there. After he left I checked the company reviews online and discovered it was a scam. I then called him and asked he not submit that contract or I would seek legal action against him. I text him several times asking he NOT submit the contract. He did not respond to those text.
