A man called me and said that he was from Pepco, our electricity utility. He said they haven't been receiving my payments and would have to disconnect our electricity, if I didn't immediately send him about $400. However, the Pepco website said I am up-to-date on my automatic payments. Eventually, the man got tired of talking with me and hung up.
