We bought a package tour from UTO Vacations to China and Thailand via Travelzoo a year and a half ago (9/22); the arrangement is that they will provide travel information (airline flights, hotel) 30 days before departure. Today is 30 days before departure, and there was no travel information posted, so I tried calling and was disconnected there times after waiting on the automated phone tree. I then went to the online chat, where I was eventually told that the tour has been cancelled. There was no explanation available other than 'we received a notification from the suppliers that they have to cancel a few orders, and yours is one of them'. The chat agent was unable to say when they would have gotten around to telling us. They have supposedly filed for a refund but the same reviewers here and on Trustpilot who have had this happen also say their money was never refunded and they have to go to their credit card company for the refund, so I am not optimistic.
