V-gimports.com Reports & Reviews (5)

Was contacted via text message by a Gary Joseph, telling me they had seen my resume on CalJobs. He asked me if I was interested to which I replied, "yes". From there I gvs emy email and he set me up immediately for a text I review through Microsoft teams after sending me an email about the job description. After abkut 15 minutes and a few questions, he immediately offers me the job and sends me a form to fill out through jotform.com, to which I had to upload a picture of my state ID and fill out basic info like my name, address, email, references, etc. After this I felt something was a little odd in the quick nature of everything and how I was immediately offered the job after a quick text only Interview. They didn't answer the phone when called and no voice or video chat. He then sends me via email three forms: a direct deposit authorization even though I clearly stated I wanted to be paid by check, a W-4 and an offer letter. All the grammar seemed a bit iffy and there website seems out together rather quick and vaguely. Once receiving this email I ignored it and went with my gut Instinct to Google the company. I found similar reports from other people being scanned exactly as I described. I in ediatelt blocked all contact from this "employer" and came here.

An import company by the name of V & G IMPORTS, LLC. First received correspondence through a text message by a "Gary Joseph". They said they saw my resume on CalJobs and the email they used for further correspondence is [email protected]. They set me up with a text interview immediately after confirming that I would like to proceed with their consideration. I was immediately hired and sent an "application" through jotform.com, where I had to upload a picture of my driver's license and address and other basic information like date of birth, two references, phone number, etc. He then sends me three forms, a W-4, direct deposit authorization form, and an offer letter of sorts. They do not answer the phone but want me to fill out a W4 form and a direct deposit authorization when I said I would prefer a check.

I lost my job not to long a go so I post my resume in CALJOBS, the next day I got an email from Kevin Nicholas [email protected] offering a job, he did the interview over Teams chat, ask me a lot of questions like a regular interview but something didn't feel right so I look them up and it looks like its a scam.

this is what he said when he finish interviewing me.

I replied that I was interested and requested more details. I was then emailed the full job description with training details which was full of grammatical errors and just seemed too good to be true for a data-entry job. Also, no phone number anywhere in emails and website looked thrown together. Searched for [email protected] using Google and ScamPulse.com scam website was in the result, so I stopped pursuing the position and filed this report.

I think I am being contacted by a fake job.

It appears to be an import company but it seems kind of fake. v-gimports.com

They said they saw my resume on CalJobs

The person is Kevin Nicholas [email protected]

The company is V & G IMPORTS, LLC

They do not answer the phone but want me to fill out a W4 form and a direct deposit authorization when I said I would prefer a check.

Under unemployment I am required to accept any work that gets offered to me. I think ****** ****** has something to do with this. He is aware I lost my job without me specifying that I ever had one to him.

He is a ***** ****** and my family is known to get ***** ******s into this country. They may be using fronts like this to get people in the country.

I have tried to reach out to you guys in the past about helping with Counter Terrorism but no one took me seriously.

Please look into scams like this. People have to say yes & will end up losing their personal information and possibly money too. They specifically state that they found me on the CalJobs website so that should be more of a legal issue.

Thank you for your time,

***** ******
