Scam for sure

I submitted a fake name and every time I get a call from someone using that fake name I know it is a scam. I have received multiple calls from this "travel agency" offering me a deal on a cheap vacation.

Got defensive when gently Questioned

I get these calls a lot from various companies because one time I made the mistake of purchasing a package that I didn’t use. It’s been ongoing for about 4 years - tonight I decided to answer a call. I heard the dialer connect me to “Max Miller” who wanted to offer me a fully customizable package with no expiration - more than doubling my initial cruise timeline, adding 4 round trip flights to any port of my choice, 8 days oceanfront in Maui, and another 8 days anywhere in the USA. You know already it sounds too good to be true. I told him a couple of times that I’m not spending any more money. Usually that’s the scam they want you to pay them additional funds for this package and even if it Is a real package it’s a sales call and I know it. He said that I only have a booking fee but wouldn’t tell me the cost that was the next guys job. So then I’m asked to hold and “Mark Daniels” the “Travel Coordinator” gets on the call. Max asked me several times to write down the details and then Mark told me this is to stir up tourism after the pandemic and all he wants from me for this is to promise if I have a good time will I leave them some reviews. I said sure. Then he said ok I’m going to text you the details of what I said and then I’m going to email you a doc u sign which shows it all in writing. So he texted me and in the bottom of the message was their website which I wrote above. He asked me to click on the website so that I can see where I can go. I said “well I don’t know that I want to click on any link just yet.” He got immediately defensive and pleaded to me that he has a past address for me and proceeded to tell it to me, as well as my personal email address. He complained about how all he asked me for was a review and this is to bring up tourism from the pandemic. I said well let me give you a little background that for 4 years I’ve been getting calls like this and they ALWAYS ask me for money so I’m just trying to get to that part and learn what you really want from me. He said is your email still …. I said yes. He said well I think we’ll do this by email I think that’s the fair thing to do and he hung up on me. His response was so odd and striking that I was happy that I didn’t click on their link he texted me - clearly they are hiding something. What a couple of whiny [censored]. Whatever they wanted they should just speak the words. Now I’m blocking both numbers and will continue ignoring 90% of the calls to my phone.

Called telling me I had insurance on a travel plan that expired. they were going to up grade me, get rid of fee Iwould have paid.

Ask them what company it was that sold that to me and what I was upgrading from.Could not tell me ,pushing sales of new program.

Finally hung up on me when I keep asking question. Call number back asking for supervisor got same run around. Did that 4 time

hung up me each time. did not buy or give information. been called by them many times.
