Seemed too good to be true

- Edmond, OK, USA • Apr 20, 2024

I found out about Revelry Tours in a Charleston Guidebook. I visited their website and booked a tour for my upcoming vacation. I quickly received my confirmation of payment and an additional confirmation/schedule/instructions for the tour date by email. I arrived at the tour address 15 minutes before my tour began. As was suggested by the email. We waited until past the assigned meeting time and no one ever showed. We began calling the given phone number, it went to voicemail. We also emailed the given email address and it was an invalid email. The website is still up and working but the links to email don't work. They sent me an email the day after the missed tour for feedback on the tour that I "attended" and for a review. Clearly, this was an automated email since they never returned my phone calls or emails about the fact that no one was there to host the tour. The emails about the tour were from an address called ****************.

Beach Bound Vacations sends out daily emails advertising for cheap vacation packages. I completed a package from them, received a confirmation 18 days prior to the trip, and did not hear from them since. I called them, emailed them and left messages but they never answer or returned my calls. I'm in the process now of disputing the charges with my credit card company. It started on Messenger and then to the cell phone because they asked for money. Plus I began researching the FB page information. I spoke to the agent on my phone. Asked him where the largest RV expo was held and he replies in Florida. I then said no, I live next to where it is held. This year Pink even made a visit and also attended the park. He took awhile before he realized Pennsylvania and Hershey. I then told him that I believed he had to look it up before answering. Plus his information didn't add up when I researched the information provided. PS : They messaged me that I don't get the prize.

I still have everything if you need to see Messenger and index card.

I was made to pay in full for a hotel reservation booking then upon arrival and check in to the Hotel I was made to pay the full amount again.

The hotel was adamant about not using the proof of payment I made to Reservation Stays and mentioned its not the first time this website has done this.

The response from website has been zero and with no valid approach process for reprisal. See email below which I have gotten every time I sent an enquiry email . The phone number listed is also is just a scam with a high per minute charge of $0.30 per minute and of course i tried many times to connect but always the call will be cut off after waiting a long time. i have been charged closed to $100 in just waiting in que to speak to a representative. it is very disgusting service/scam . i actually ran into 2 other guest at the same hotel which the same exact thing happened . this site needs to be removed from public access and the owners charged or put in jail.

I received a call saying a friend recommended for a condo vacation and also I would receive $300. I couldn't totally understand everything the woman was saying, but she seem really excited and what not. I told her this was something I probably wasn't interested in and hung up.

Received and answered call from 404-509-2621, listened to recording about a free vacation, was then asked if i could provide more information to see if I qualify. I answered, "OKay." Same question was repeated, I said, "Okay....Yes". The call was immediately ended. When I returned the call I got a Spanish recording.
