Agreed to buy a kitten and have it transported to me in Nevada. Things got weird when the transport person called and wanted $1440 for a special crate with of $1300 when the cat was delivered. They wanted American Express gift cards just like the payment for the kitten. I told them no way, I would pay a reasonable rental fee for the crate but that was all. Told him I would tell the owner to pick the cat up from them. By this time I was questioning if the kittens even exist. Told the owner to cancel the transaction and refund my money. Like that is going to happen. Could not find any listings for State Pet Transportation either. Vans and the supposed pet transportation are in this together.

The website seemed legit with reviews, details about cats, back stories, pictures… etc. Things got weird when we started emailing back and forth. Their grammar was terrible with random punctuation or lack of punctuation, and random omission/addition of words. They couldn’t even spell “Zelle” right. (If you want to steal my money, at least know how to spell the name of the app used to transfer money). There was no paperwork discussed before they requested payment like they said would happen. No background check of me when they claimed to care so much about the homes these kittens are going to. No ability to meet the kittens even virtually.

Then I searched this person’s home address just to find it on THIS SAME WEBSITE under a different cattery name. I wish the kitten was real, but it’s just money hungry people praying on others empathy.
