Hola, estoy recibiendo un correo de una persona que dice ser Gerente Administrativo de este instituto, llamada Maiana Otis (maranaotis@gmail) donde me ofrece el 40% de deposito de un ciudadano americano Señor Alfred Mcdaniel, quien fallecio en un accidente de transito en Porto, Portugal y quiere compartir la cantidad de USD $26.7 miilones. Les agradezco tomar nota de esta persona, no se si es gerente o no de esa institucion...Alerta pues, los estafadores estan rondando por todo el mundo buscando a personas inocentes para estafarlas.

Hi I am writing to inform of a scam letter from Sophia Gomez almost like a form letter that I have found all over them internet. Tempting as 26.7 million split 50 40 10 for charities is very much a I stopper. But the power of the world wide web can alert people of such deplorable crimes mainly against the senior population here in the U.S.A. and God knows where else. You sounded like a nice grandmother when we spoke. Thank God for tell my carrier made it free of charge to call you in Spain. I can only pray for you and husbands souls on day of reckoning. I received the same letter from Sofia Gomez regarding unclaimed funds. I emailed her with regards to the split and to date have not received a reply. So I looked up this website and found that indeed it was a scam. People of this kind are a horrible sending such letters to innocent victims. I only wish that whoever they are are caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Shame on you Sofia or whoever you are.

My mother received this letter reference to a possible inheritance of $26.7 m USD of which 40% would be my mother's, 50% to her (Sofia Gomez and 10% to a charity in Spain.

Obviously, my mother double checked this with me. She said she just received this letter and wanted my opinion. I new it was a scam from the begining as we know of no such relative in our lifetime to have lived.

I obviously googled here name and saw this scam you have provided. I am writing this so that no one in the future falls for this scam.

My mother then tore it up, but I retaped it to present it to this report.

A letter was sent to my residence asking me to contact to husband's information by fax or phone. I asked my niece to contact this person Gloria Alves. She emailed Gloria asking for instructions she would give to me. At the same time, my niece did some research and found an article about a scam utilizing the same wording from the letter. I want to report this as I am a kupuna, on a very low fixed income and not even in the phone book. Please alert our kupunas of this so no one is able to take from our kupunas.

40%Received a letter via postal mail stating that someone with my last name was deceased and this financial institution held their money and waited for someone from the family to claim it; however, that hasn't happened. So in their search for relatives, there are forms to be filled out (I haven't and won't do that), in order to qualify for these substantial funds. The letter states that "upon acceptance to cooperate, 40% will go to me, 50% for this executor, and 10% will go to any acceptable charity organization in Spain or my country.
