I was "hired" by Vegan Digital I'll be attaching the employment contract that was sent to me. I've worked over a month pouring my time into this job and I still haven't seen a paycheck as promised and it's put our family in jeopardy of eviction. The person I'm working with is David Yu. He said I have to close the business account he made me open and open a NEW business account at a different bank. That way when the client puts money into my account I can take my bonus and paycheck out of it. I told him I'm not comfortable doing that. I reminded him he has direct deposit info or he could zelle me the money. His response was its easier to open the other account. Either way. I thought I've been working, market research, bitcoin research, research after research. I was enjoying the research! Now? Looks like David Yu was just professionally grooming me (and who knows who else!) To commit embezzlement and fraud. So I'm fighting back for my family! This has devastated our financial situation

Applied for an admin assistant position through indeed. Company is called Vegan-Digital. You have to use the - or you can't find it anywhere. Monthly salary is 2500. Part time. Training is a month long but if you finish you get paid. Here's where it gets weird.

1 Company is supposedly based in Hong Kong and is starting to make roots here.

2 They prefer payments from clients/customers through bitcoin. Although they offer wire transfer from bank account to bank account as well.

3 Today this trainer said I would need to open a business account with a more prominent bank than the credit union I use because in order to process customers payments, that money gets deposited to me first where I would then put it into the company bitcoin account...

I started getting suspicious when bitcoin even got brought up. But I can't find a single thing about this company besides the website. No reviews, good or bad, anywhere. So I thought well I'm already unemployed and still looking for a job so "training" for this for 4 hours a day isn't necessarily going to make a difference. That and the longer the training has gone on, it started seeming pretty legit.

Then I went on the Internet and saw that multiple others had been scammed or went through this/never received pay for the training and almost were imprisoned for wire fraud due to this job.

I got an email about a job interview for a remote position. It seemed really great but the more I started researching it, I couldn’t find any of the “co-founders” and they’re promising HUGE things. The more I speak with them the more suspicious I am. I have been scammed in the past and this is really similar to what I experienced for a remote position.

When I went back to try and find the information on indeed I couldn’t no longer find it, they don’t really speak good English so just a warning if your trying to use indeed to find a job please please make sure it’s a legit job

I was approached by email by their “HR Manager” Savannah Smith. I was told they were offering virtual assistant remote job opportunities and was sent the link to the application and job description. In the email it stated they were based in Hong Kong and were spreading to the US and Europe. I read the job description and it was just too good to be true so I started digging through their website and found their list of higher ups with pictures. With a simple google search it turned out the pictures were stolen from other people. With more looking through their website I found their “testimonials” from their higher ups, the catch was it was the same names and titles but pictures of different people. They also posted certificates for business from Hong Kong and put their address as a big what I presume is an office building, but when I looked it up and went through the directory they weren’t on it.
