They reached out to me because I'm selling my car. Said they want to buy in the next day or so but need the vehicle report asap. I said no problem, I can give you the Carfax, but they suggested another site that has "more detailed history" vehiclecheckpro.com. I was hesitant and looked it up and found its a scam where they clone your credit card when you run the VIN check. I told them that my credit card wasn't working and that I'd be happy to send them the Carfax report but they insisted on their site. I blocked them and reported spam.
