I listed a used car for sale on FB Marketplace and Auto Trader and got a dozen scam texts within two days. The last guy had decent grammar and I cautiously responded a few times until he asked me to go to a web site and get him a vin verification (Verifaxvin.com). I didn't but I looked it up and found it had only been up for four days. I'm sure there would have been a fee. I had already included a CarFax. These people need to be held accountable.
