My husband and I purchased a car from the owner, George for $1150.00. When we drove home the car wouldn’t go over speed bumps without jerking and would not go over 20 miles per hour. We attempted to return the car and get our money back but it guy wasn’t there anymore. We called him and he said to turn it off then restart it. It connects to have problems. Then at home we couldn’t get it out of the driveway. We contacted the owner several times and were given many excuses as to why he couldn’t meet with us. Then he stopped answering my calls and texts. This went on for a week and a half. It wasn’t until my husband called and threatened to call the police that he actually showed up and refunded our money and picked up the car. Then not two hours after he picked up the car he already had it back up for sale on Facebook marketplace. I found out that day from a friend of mine that the owner George Marks had been previously indicted for providing fraudulent documents to a car dealership and was charged with larceny. I shudder to think of the next person who has to deal with this guy. Do not do business with him at any cost!!! We didn’t receive our full amount back. He needs to be reported to the authorities!
