FAKE MOTOR VEHICLE NOTIFICATION
Received a card stock regular Mail size postcard. At the top in bold lettering in the place where the return address would go, says vehicle service division RE: your 2014 Chevrolet
Below that in the center area above the address line for the receiver, it says 2014 Chevrolet Avião with an arrow pointing at motor vehicle read notification. In a box it says coverage ID gives three numbers two letters and five numbers the notification date says Saturday, November 26, 2022 contact phone number 1-888-582-6870 expiration date Saturday, December 17, 2022 and then it has my address in the address line.
On the backside at the top in bold and all capital letters it says motor vehicle notification.
Then he proceeds to tell me that our records indicate you have not contacted us to have your coverage on your 2014 Chevrolet Avvio activated you are receiving this notice to ensure no lapse in warranty coverage please call us today at 188-5826870. By neglecting to add activate your coverage you’ll be at risk for being financially liable for any and all repairs after your factory coverage expires … Then it gives the hours the toll-free number and says immediate requirement response requested.
These sort of mailings should be not allowed for non-legitimate businesses.
