Towing company towed my car from a legal lot; I walked out of rite aid and guy came to me and demand money to release my car. Demanded $386.00 and would not accept a credit card. Could not call police because phone was in the car. He directed me to a ATM. This person then directed the tow truck driver to release my car. A scam! I'm 85 and disabled. Had to pay. Filed complaint with ftc.
