I was contacted by the scammer offering to purchase a pickup truck I had for sale. He offered to send a cashier's check that would pay for the vehicle and transportation of the vehicle. I received the check and it appeared suspicious. It was supposedly a secure check but had none of the features that it claimed to have. I contacted the bank and found the check was no good and the bank had received multiple complaints about the business previously. I checked online and saw that this was a very common scam and on the advice of the website did not deposit the check. I have the check and the envelope that it came in. Person who contacted me called himself Charles. Have the sequence of text messages that took place during the transaction, though I don't know how to print that out. I would be happy to provide any additional details that you may want.
