I am a very patient and kind individual, and as such, understand in this economy everyone is doing their part to support their families, or so I thought, in the beginning.
As a retired Homicide Detective, however, I am not a very trusting person. The phone calls, became very frequent, at all times of day, before 0800 and after 2200 hours and from different numbers, each time I would be polite and listen to the representative and request to be removed from their call list. All of which, when I would require to be removed from, only came at a cost of a new number and a different "representative" with the same "scam". I would try to do a search history or dial the number back, and it was "not a working number". But today May 18 at 1556 hours as fate would have it, that changed. The female on the other end, told me her name without much thought, and started to explain her program, and after a minute or two, I caught her off guard and asked her, her name quite politely a second time and this time she gave me her full name, Crystal Johnson, without hesitation or any thought. She offered it it quickly and freely, so I feel about 65% certain this is in fact her real name, or her "scam name". Either way, it is a lead that was not available yesterday, as well as the information I was able to ascertain from our brief conversation, and the fact that I was able to leave a return message.
The pitch, dialect, tone, accent, and depth in her voice, I believe her to be, in my professional training, an African American adult female. Her voice indicated no geographic parameters, except to prove that this scam is within the USA borders. I can not attest to her mastering of the English language except to say that she spoke clear, concise, and without any Foreign, European, Northern, Southern, Mid-West, African and/or Middle Eastern accent, due to her abruptly ending the conversation when I requested the business name, and the spelling of her name.
She said something unintelligible and the line disconnected.
I immediately dialed the number back, and as I previously mentioned, the phone rang several times before an automated recording stated to leave a message.
I left an elevated voice message for this Ms. Johnson, and this "Unknown company".
I explained I was notifying the ScamPulse.com after this message. I stated Ms.Crystal Johnson, it is extremely rude to contact a person repeatedly and repeatedly hang the phone up on them. I explained only cowards hide behind these criminal activities and their time is running out. I explained that I am a retired Homicide Detective and the tides are changing, because today, today they made mistakes, today, whether she's Crystal or not, or if her phone's a burner or not, I caught bad people for a living, and I'm tired of requests that are ignored and hang ups, so today, I make a stand. I demanded they better lose my number and vehicle information for the very LAST time. I do NOT want to be contacted by you or any or your associates and this scam "company" ever again. I explained I will, if pushed further, will take this, not only, to a re-portable situation, but to a criminal investigation if necessary. They, the scammers, have gone too far, and I'm done "playing nice". I was Very loud, I used non-threatening, non vulgar, and very professional language during my voicemail. I, above all, realize illegal activities does not beget my acting in an illegal, threatening, violent, harassing manner.
I will be of assistance in any way that I can, to include, allowing access to my phone history to narrow down the other phone numbers if you are interested in looking into this case further.

If your agency is too busy, believe me, I do understand. Hopefully, after my voicemail today, I will not hear from them again, and it is quite cathartic to just tell someone the injustice. (843-860-5206 One of the numbers I received this call from)
