After receiving this suspicious email signed with a @gmail.com email address, I Googled the company name and confirmed my suspicions. Here's the email from "Abel":

Red Flags all over this "company". They reached out via email requesting a quote for some model-specific projectors and TV's. After submitting a quote they asked for adjustments and was ready to proceed with the order. After sending out terms & conditions and contract they signed and then we proceeded to process payment. The card was declined. I called "Abel Humberto" and I could tell it was not a business line and he answered "hello" and then hung up and called me back. He asked if he could just pay %50 today and %50 tomorrow. I told him no and he said he would call back with another card number. He was speaking broken english. I immedately started looking into the company. Very generic website and could not get in touch with anyone else at the company. Some numbers listed were not working numbers. He called back and talked to someone else at our company and processed the payment with another card. The card was not in his name and had a billing address in Texas. The company is listed in Colorado and the product ship-to address was in New York. I immediately canceled the order and requested a W-9 from his company. He provided one. I called the Secretary of State in Colorado which they told me that the company name was dissolved in 2013.
