I received an email from Nicole Hardy, "HR Manager - Verde Fulfillment USA," stating that she found my resume on Indeed and that Indeed matched it to the position of Quality Control (Job ID 752047). She sent me a brief interview with 8 questions related to the job, with a deadline to respond. At the end of the email, there was a link to unsubscribe: (https://hr-nicole_hardy_verde-fulfillmentusa_com-dot-mmemails3.appspot.com/em_H... /> After answering the email with the questions, they send you another email stating that your application has been approved, along with two forms you need to fill out: one is the job offer acceptance, and the other is the payment method form. You are given 5 days to respond to that email with the completed forms.
Everything seems correct, but the logo on the forms from the real company has a different color than the original, and on the website, they "mistakenly" spell FULFILLMENT like this: FULFILMENT, with only one L.

scammer used employment tactics, they pretended to be HR manager, they forged Job offer and payroll forms that I signed and returned.

they took my Picture I.D through a a registration link they sent me.

Scammer emailed me claiming to be returning my job application. Shelby Harris asked me to fill out a form with my banks routing and account numbers for direct deposit. I foolishly went along with this, and then I searched his email on google and found this page.

I received an email telling me that my application was being reviewed for Verde Fulfillment USA. At first I thought that it was one of the jobs I had applied for recently but I couldn't remember applying for a "quality control" position and the name Verde Fulfillment was unfamiliar. After double checking Indeed to see if I had applied to it and not seeing anything I realized it was most likely a scam. I checked the official website too and noticing that the location was in Idaho, solidified my suspicions. I don't live in ID and I'm not planning on relocating so there's no way I would have applied to the job. Luckily, since the email had no links to Indeed, which raised my suspicions immediately, I never responded to the email. Another thing that I noticed about the email, was that my name was in a smaller font size than everything else. Usually, this means that it has been copy and pasted which isn't too unusual; however, the case number was having the same issue. When something like a name or a specific number in an email look like this, it means that a pre-written format is used, and the specifics have been entered in afterwards. Again, this isn't too unusual, but legit and profession companies usually know how to hide it.

Asked several initial questions about work ethic, congratulated on job selection, asked for return documents “payroll delivery form” & “job offer letter” and upload ID and fill out address online.

• Dec 10, 2023

Answered the questions and said I was hired. This is professional as I checked the company before submitting info and it is a legit company. Sent them a void cheque and heard nothing back. I know an organization can’t take funds from my bank account but I will have to do some due diligence to ensure against identity theft and call authorities. Not sure what else to do.

This is unfortunately a somewhat well-put-together scam. They send you emails asking typical job offer questions, and then accept your application a little too soon. There is no real job and no pay, I traced the source of their website registration and emails and found that they are registered to a random small booth in a mall in Hong Kong. They are just trying to steal your information. I have to say that there was a lack of the usual tell-tale signs that it was a scam (in hindsight, definitely a few), but the company looked unfamiliar and I'm glad I did my research.

I believe the scammer got my email address from a job search website (indeed.ca) with a false job posting. I was emailed by a "Shelby ******" noted as HR Manager for Verde Fulfillment USA and told I was hired into a Quality Control position. The email address used was [email protected] which is very close to the real company's website www.verdefulfillmentusa.com (note there is no dash). They asked me to answer some questions (by email) and then sent me a follow-up email with a link to access the company's control panel. When I clicked the link my firewall blocked it and indicated the address was blacklisted.

Received an email with a job offer that was somewhat vague. They attached three forms job description, payroll and job offer. The letterhead on all these three forms did not have a company location or contact number. They claimed one must submit form within 5 days of receipt.

They claim to be Shelby Harris. Emailed about a job as a Quality Control Associate. Claiming I applied at Verde Fulfillment USA. The first email consisted of eight generic "personality" questions. Second email is a job offer email with three attachments; job description, job offer, and payroll delivery form. Each document held the Verde Fulfillment USA banner at the top and correlated with their descriptions.

They were aware that I made job applications on indeed.com. They used that to create a job Case ID Number. They then sent me an email claiming that they were reviewing my application and asked me some easy questions to answer like DO you Have a car? what time of day is best for you? After I responded, they sent me a very convincing job offer letter from WWW.VERDEFULFILMENTUSA.COM very cleverly misspelling the company name FILMENTUSA instead of FILLMENTUSA. They asked that I accept within 5 business days and sign and return the letter to them. They also asked me to fill out a payroll delivery form. I was careful not to give them my banking info, so I told them to pay me by check and send it to my home address. They then sent me a congratulations on your new position email and asked me to fill out a "Control Panel Registration". I filled out basic info name, address, phone, email. The form then creates a "username" and "password". The one extra thing I gave them was a scan of my driver's license to "prove my identity". They claim that if they don't send a confirmation within 24 hours to contact them. 24 hours went by no answer. I waited a few more days and sent another email, no answer. I called the real company and they said it's a scam and to contact police.

False job application. Applied, accepted, gave standard job application and w2 info. They send packages to you for “quality inspection” and have you send it to new locations via FedEx and UPS
