I received an email with the subject of "Attention!" from "Verizon Services" with an email address of [email protected]. Text body: "This Payment Invoice No. 17964042 is issued for your purchase of Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The copy of invoice is attached to the email for your reference. © 2015 Verizon Wireless" with the Verizon logo. Attached document: "intuit_certificate_info.doc". My Norton Security immediately deleted the file stating it was threat named "W97M.Downloader". Norton says it a virus with high risk. I cannot attach it, but I can forward the email if someone at the ScamPulse.com can provide me with one for further investigation. I called Verizon and verified that this was scam. Verizon's CSR told me that they DO NOT send emails from "Verizon Services". She also recommend I report this to the ScamPulse.com for further investigation.
