I found Veteran Movers LLC on Craigslist because I was looking for a quick move from one apartment to the next in the same complex. Gene asked for $75 as a down payment to hold the Saturday move. I called asking for a change in day and was charged an additional $10. I thought it was strange but I was desperate due to a time crunch. He asked for me to pay all of it upfront and he will give me a veteran discount but I declined. I told him I would not pay all the money for a job not completed. The moving day approached and he blocked my number. My boyfriend called and he answered and lied about his men stopping for gas. I waited an hour and nothing. My father called as well and he hung up the phone on him.

His cash app information is George Sturdivant and his picture is a truck. He will send you false reviews but no actual website. I also asked for a receipt and he could not provide me with anything he stated once I pay everything he will send it to me. Be aware of this scammer in Florida.

This scammer used the an actual moving company’s name “Veteran Movers LLC” on Craigslist. The scammer asked for a depot up front by using a Bar-code,Facebook pay. This is not a legit business 8133207324
